“Hamlet” ... the BC version

With appologies to Shakespeare, who surely must be rolling over in his grave, here is my version of a portion of Act 3, Scene 1 J

To be, or not to be Conservative, that is the question:
Whether is nobler in the mind to suffer in life with the Liberals or NDP, or to end it all.
To die, to sleep no more; thankfully in death there are no more excessive taxes to pay.
Everyone may wish good things to happen but it will not always happen.
To die, to sleep; to sleep and dream nicely; but dreams are all that will happen if you do not vote.
For in that position of not having voted, we have left this body to the mercy of those who have.
There is respect that one gets for living life with an inquiring and learning mind.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, the oppressor’s wrong, the proud man’s rudeness, the pangs of despised love, the law of delay, the insult of office, and the spurns that patient merit of the unworthy takes, when he himself might right these wrongs by not fearing the socialist and voting for the Conservatives?
Who would wish to continue bearing this suffrage of the Liberals no matter who is leader?
Many are scared of what undiscovered terrain comes in exploring the BC Conservative Party
But boost your confidence, for they are cowards that fear change.
We tend to think things are scarier than they really are.
Someone may talk themselves out of doing what they were originally going to do.
But not you of the conservative mind.

Tomorrow I’ll be back with more on the ongoing look at medical care and costs.  Till then, take care and have a great day.

I’m Alan Forseth, and those are the thoughts of one conservative.
