In today's Vancouver Sun (June 10th), you will find the following story ... "BC Liberal, NDP leadership races saw same people sign up for both parties"
While the the NDP claim that Christy Clark is more to the right than Attila the Hun, and the BC Liberals claims that Adrian Dix is about as far left as a person can go ... here is more proof of what many have been saying.
There is not a whole lot of difference between the NDP and the BC Liberals.
Both of have guilty of building bureaucracy ... both of have been guilty raising the deficit and debt ... both support the carbon tax ... and on and on the list goes.
If indeed these parties were so significantly different, how would thousands of people be able to support and take out memberships in both parties? The fact they were able to do so only goes to show there is no real difference.
Both support bigger government involvement in our lives ... bigger spending ... and less accountability to the taxpayers who have to foot the bill.
Real change -- real difference -- real accountability can only going to come about one way. The people of BC need to insist on it, and we need to let our political leaders know that nothing less will do.
In Kamloops I'm Alan Forseth ... and these are the thoughts of one conservative.
