Description of the word "Entitlement" ... see BC Liberals

I looked up "entitlement" in the Webster's Dictionary and it said, "see BC Liberals".  So I looked that up and it said:

Meaning:

1 [noncount] a : the condition of having a right to have, do, or get something ▪ my entitlement to a refund b : the feeling or belief that you deserve to be given something (such as special privileges) ▪ celebrities (or perhaps politicians) who have an arrogant sense of entitlement

If Christy Clark calls a provincial general election, over 2 years ahead of schedule, this description will be more than fitting

Christy ... just call the by-election in Gordon Campbell’s old riding, that he opened up for you with his resignation, and let the voters decide if they want you as their MLA.  That will more than give you an indication of how voters and the public feel.

Anything less than that will be a verification of the BC Liberals believing they have a "right to have, do, or get something".

I believe that "right" they feel they have, is to our vote.  Why else would Christy Clark keep bringing up the topic of a general election over two years early, and ahead of the BC Conservative Party voting to accept the leadership of John Cummins?

She knows people are going to be taking a long hard look at what the BC Liberals really stand for -- and she also knows that will then put the new BC Conservative Party high on the list as a choice for voters in the next election.

What do you think?
