Kamloops South Thompson Liberal MLA Kevin Krueger |
Today
in the BC Legislature, BC Liberal MLA Kevin Krueger decided to show once again
that he simply does not know when to muzzle his comments.
Given
the fireworks during media scrums with Krueger, it sounds like perhaps the impact
of revelations, coming from BC Conservative MLA John van Dongen, are hitting a
little too close to the target … which led news media people to set Twitter ablaze
with some of it.
Here
is just one exchange that took place earlier this afternoon on Twitter … however
there were plenty more comments from those in the news media:

Stream of consciousness rant from Krueger
attacks integrity of Van Dongen, Dix, and Cummins. Takes a shot at media for
good measure. #bcpoli

Is the Krueger rant on record; couldn't
he have saved it 4 Hansard recording? :)

Two!
Wasn't he able to get it all off his chest in the first one? :) Verifies what
Justine wrote about dumping Campbell.
Sean
Leslie, from CKNW also ran the following news story; “Liberal
MLA blasts political opponents”
A frustrated Liberal MLA
felt the need to vent today. Kamloops
South Thompson MLA Kevin Krueger approached reporters to rant about former
colleauge John van Dongen and NDP leader Adrian Dix saying both are getting far
too much positive coverage in the media.
"This guy (John van
Dongen) stands up in the legislature and yammers on about his integrity. So
where's the integrity when you're the minister responsible for public safety
and you wrack up a string of speeding tickets as long as your arm, you know,
integrity is all or nothin'. It's nothin', in that."
He says van Dongen tried to
recruit him into an effort to topple former Premier Gordon Campbell in the fall
of 2010.
"I think John van
Dongen suffers from delusions of grandeur and he attacked Gordon Campbell no
doubt about it I told you he phoned me, stupidly phoned me, tried to recruit me
I had to wait for a chance to tell him he was in conflict of interest and I
told him to resign but he didn't and Gordon Campbell was so gracious he didn't
fire him, but he could have and he is still attacking Gordon Campbell more than
a year after he's gone."
Krueger describes van
Dongen as a small man with a mean streak and calls BC Conservative leader John
Cummins "ridiculous", and calls Adrian Dix's attempt to become
premier "preposterous."
Krueger adds the media and
critics are not giving Premier Christy Clark a fair shake.
It
now seems that a ‘liberal’ dose of vitriol (ie: extreme bitterness and hatred
toward somebody or something, or an expression of this feeling in speech or
writing) is the continued order of the day.
I
have lost count of the number of media stories that have gone out when MLA
Kruger decides to unleash his booming voice – not a single one have been
flattering to his cause – so WHY does he continue to do it?
Residents
of the Kamloops South Thompson riding will have the opportunity to show their
approval, or disapproval, of his actions in due course when the next BC general election
is held in May of next year.
I’m
thinking a good number will be showing that is NOT how they wish their MLA to
act. What
do you think?

Seriously? This guy rants about a train ride worth $2 yet doesn't mention Gordon Campbell's drunk driving charge, or the dirty deal of selling the railroads., or privatization of B.C. They're so desperate they'll say anything.but it's only hurting the fiberals now..
