Following the official founding meeting for the Kamloops South Thompson Constituency Association, held on November 29th, a Board of Directors is now in place.
Meeting in Kamloops Thursday evening (December 9th) the constituency associations’ directors selected Alan Forseth of Kamloops to the Presidents position while Fred Batyi (bay-tea) of Chase will be the Vice President. Also from Kamloops , Ted Joslin chosen as Secretary and Jacquie McDonald fills the Treasurers position.
The growth of party is continuing at an astonishing rate through-out the province. Over the weekend four more constituency associations for the BC Conservative Party held founding meetings. They were the three Abbotsford ridings of Abbotsford-Mission, Abbotsford-West and Abbotsford-South; as well as Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows.
Commenting on the newest Constituency Associations being formed in the Fraser Valley , party President Wayne McGrath stated, “This is a significant accomplishment! It also demonstrates that there is growing interest in the BC Conservatives and that the public is anxious to see us succeed.”
