"This is one double header horror show that no one should have to live through again!" John Cummins says of the Liberals and NDP

Newly elected BC Conservative
Leader John Cummins
Former Reform Party and Conservative MP John Cummins is now officially the leader of BC's Conservative Party ... and in a speech to a large crowd of cheering members he fired the first shots in any upcoming election.

He announced that a BC Conservative government will abolish the Carbon Tax which will put more money back into schools and hospitals.  No longer will they be rebating money back to the government for tax credits--- money that should be going to students and to hospital patients.

Eliminating the Carbon Tax will also save everyday British Columbian's hundreds of dollars on the everyday items they purchase ... clothing, food, homes, heating, and for the gas and diesel British Columbians outside the main urban centers need to get around taking care of everyday responsibilities.

John Cummins stated clearly ... "The BC Liberals are going to try and claim we are pulling support from them ... BUT Christy Clark and the BC Liberals are driving people away with self-serving government ... inept government ... and dishonest government."

He went on to say ... "Soon BC voters will cast their vote; we will not be splitting the vote, we will win their vote."

His speech resonated strongly with the several hundred members people who were in the room, and the audience cheered when he said that the BC Conservative Party would be running candidates in all 85 ridings in the province.  "Every person deserves a choice" he stated.  "We need to give voice to all those people who have been ignored for so long."

BC Conservatives will be going to the voters with the promise of a common sense government; one that will listen to the people, and then let them get on with their lives.

A BC Conservative government will value the priorities of British Columbian's ... the common sense of British Columbian's ... and not be subject to the nonsense of political correctness.

John Cummins said, "The status quo is just not good enough anymore"

A BC Conservative government led by John Cummins, and elected BC Conservative MLA's, will put priority on education and allow parents to have a greater say in the system ... invest in policing and the court system to ensure communities are safe ... work smarter in how health care dollars are used ... and go into treaty negotiations with a commitment that all British Columbian's are created equal.

He said, that a  BC Conservative government will be honest and upfront on taxes that each of are asked to pay.

"The record of the BC Liberals during the past decade is one of broken promises, arrogance, and deceit", said Cummins ... "and the people of BC have been left to pay the tab"

The decade of the NDP before them was no better however as Cummins went on to say, "This is one double header horror show that no one should have to live through again!"

What BC needs now is the new BC Conservatives, and with John Cummins now elected as leader, that's what's on the way.

I'm Alan Forseth in Surrey, and these are the thoughts of one conservative.
