I can give you the answer in one word ... NO!

Former MP Chuck Strahl ... a love-in
with Premier Christy Clark?
Former Conservative MP Chuck Strahl provided the Vancouver Sun with an editorial comment yesterday (March 14, 2012), in which part of his comments included the following statement:
"... some of the “heat” about the premier and her government is to be expected, especially from purists who don’t believe in building a free enterprise coalition ..."
I am sure you will know that did not go over well with me.

That's because one would have to believe the reference (above) is to those of us in the BC Conservative Party.

Well I have news for you Chuck ... many, if not most, people in the BC Conservative Party actually WERE previously part of the so called 'free-enterprise' coalition -- or at least voted for it.

So Chuck, here is the question I would ask you to seriously consider, "Do you think we left on a lark, just for something to do?"

In one word I can give you the answer ... its NO!

Obviously while you were away in Ottawa, you weren't paying close attention to how this current Liberal government was driving us away.

The BC Liberal government of Christy Clark CANNOT continue to tax and spend --- and drive the debt ever higher -- and then say they are a government of good fiscal management.

Nor can they take away much needed financial resources, that are badly needed to run our health and education system, under the guise of a phoney green mantle called the Pacific carbon Trust.

To be totally brutal Chuck, I would suggest rather than writing the glowing slop I read yesterday in the Vancouver Sun, that you instead refresh yourself on what a true small 'c' conservative government looks like - and acts like.

In doing so, I'm sure you would recall that it actually looks like is one which has a priority towards true fiscal management ... and one that also has a strong commitment to being socially responsible.

If you can stomach it, you can CLICK HERE to read Chuck Strahl's analysis(?) of Christy Clark's first year

I'm Alan Forseth, currently in Vancouver, with the thoughts of one conservative.

A lot of us left because of the dishonesty and sleaze. Adding a few
Conservative lackeys is going to change that.
