BC job plan? What a joke! I had to move to Alberta just to make good money to support my family

WOW ... I have to say I am surprised that many of the comments, posted to the BC JobsPlan Facebook page, have not been removed.  They paint a VERY unflattering picture of what people think of Christy Clark's BC Liberal government.

Here's a snapshot of what I read today at noon:

Rather than blocking me from posting on CC fb page (because I got tired of her spam) for calling it spam, which is what it is. Maybe an idea would be to stop posting spam (just like this page) on mine. Or keep it up, that way this will be really fresh in my mind come election day. That's a great idea. Keep it up.

Why am I seeing jobs bc ads on every SportsNet
video highlight? What is this costing?
put people to work with the money, and stop spending on expensive commercials telling us about your plan. i start next week on a major job in the northern part of the province...i bet i don't see one new apprentice. But i will see two hundred commercials before i go.

Waste of time ... seriously..

more wasted tax payers money

the 15 million spent on this ad campaign by the BC Liberals could have been done for free through news releases and the ad money used to help the people in need of training to gain training for good jobs, that will make them pay good taxes . all we get is 15 million spent on political propaganda and someone actually things that is cool!

Must be an election looming, the Fiberals are pulling out all the stops

Governments cannot create anything, they only feed their own creation, another level of bureaucracy that sucks up funding ! ! !

Your Jobs Plan is Fraud!

The Liberal Government has caused the largest unemployment in a single stroke than any Government ever. Twenty five thousand good paying jobs gone. Any new job created are part time at minimum wage. An unlivable income

Stop wasting all this money, at least come up with a new disguise for the ads for your party

It is amazing how much money our government is suddenly spending on propaganda. It clearly shows that a "BC Jobs Plan" is needed now, 3 1/2 months before the election, because our Liberal government has done nothing for the past four years! There should be an "unlike" button on these ads.

BC job plan what a joke... I had to move to Alberta just to make good money to support my family. They all still live on Vancouver island

Not happy as a liberal with the amount of tax payers money being spent at prime time on these ads! Spend it on health care and education. To me it seems like self promotion. I am not happy with this whole thing.

Love it when politicians spend our money telling us what a great job they are doing.

I hope this isn't Christy's best attempt to keep her job! Maybe if they'd spend the money on a program that works instead of telling us how wonderful it SHOULD work!

What you see here is nothing more than Political LIP SERVICE...there's NOTHING on this page that wasn't happening 30 years ago....just rehashing old agendas. Its proven that these job strategies by the government only produce jobs for the printing companies....you and I still have to walk to the welfare lineup.

BC Liberals stop wasting our hard earned money on useless advertising! I pray you get voted out!! people are moving out of this province, so sick of governing arrogance!!!

As usual with the Socreds ... oops!! I mean...*cough* B.C. "liberal" party, it's all about lip service and absolutely no concern for the people of the province. The May election can't come soon enough.

wow sooo bogus!! Bring back proper on the job training and upgrades, that's the answer not this crap.

This is an add campaign paid by you the tax payer to aide Christy Critter and her thieving cronies.... in an a last desperate attempt to try and get your vote....Lets talk about her trying to fire the Auditor General ....me thinks he was getting to close to her and the northern rail scandle ...ummmmm.....Personally I can't even stand to watch or hear the lying bitch .....so every time she comes on its a quick lunge for the remote....I can't wait for election day to kick their arrogant asses down the road!!!!!

In August 2005, the independent Economic Advisory Council warned the government that the shortage of skilled workers is a major threat to BC’s economic position. Today’s commitments fail to make up for 12 years of poor management in BC’s training and apprenticeship programs.

You can have all the skills in the world...if there ain't no jobs there ain't no jobs...

How is this crap getting on my FB page?

This government cut funding for apprentices, closed recruitment offices and bungled restructuring plans. While the rest of Canada was bracing for skills shortages, this government dismantled industry training and we are now far, far behind most provinces. BTW, what's your completion rate? Around 43% I hear. FAIL!

this ad is offensive and desperate

Sorry BC you raised me but Alberta's my new home now Where I have the opportunity to be able to support my new family. One day I will return but not until you stop selling out the forest industry

Adios Christy and your hack team...

You Liberals are spending way too much money telling us how great you are. I for one am sick of these ads on TV....I do find the ad on what a dishonest man Dix is, nothing but the truth. And I for one do remember how terrible the NDP are at running this Province. If the Conservatives run a good candidate here, it will be an easy choice when the elections come

Nice waste of taxpayer money. Crusty Clark is finished

I'm sick of the government spending our hard earned tax dollars on ads like this, telling us how good we have it!! And how other governments have spent recklessly - what a joke - they are all snakes!

Thanks for spending our tax dollars on this incredibly informative ad!  It is so wonderful when government can spend millions of dollars of taxpayers money right before an election to tell us how wonderful they are.

As you can see ... the people of BC are not impressed with the "Plan" ... or the taxpayer dollars being spent to promote it.

I'm Alan Forseth in Kamloops, with the thoughts of one conservative ... and MANY others.

I hear you. I am yet another skilled trade worker that has to work in Alberta, despite all the false ads claiming "skilled trade labor shortage" by the Liberals. The only job creation they have made are the jobs for the people shooting and starring in the false ads. My favorite ad is "Candace is an electrician and a mom" pffft. As a female electrician it is like a slap in the face, just like it is to every other BC skilled trade worker that has to work elsewhere.
